Why did we build Netmind Power?
In 2023, the world witnessed an AI frenzy, with a surge in demand for AI-related products. Major players had already claimed a substantial share of critical resources, such as GPUs, leaving scarce options for everyone else who wanted to build AI products.
This imbalance in supply and demand caused a sharp increase in the price of compute power, creating a significant barrier to innovation.
As a team of AI researchers, we found ourselves burdened by the exorbitant costs of computing power. We knew that there were a lot of GPUs lying idle around the world.
Therefore, we decided to build a network that connects these GPUs and provides compute power to those in need for a fraction of the cost!
In essence, we are crafting a decentralized GPU network that is truly:
